The NSM member who had his face turned into hamburger was Steven Boswell, who was attacked after giving a speech touting the NSM in which he threw shade on the Vinlanders by contrasting his group with "a social club where all we do is drink and shoot the poo poo every Saturday night." PP is gathering HERE:  the lines are the directions of possible movement in and out. (i'm assuming PP's buses are arriving from the right since that's where they would come if they're coming from vancouver.) on the left, this section of the park is buttressed by an old offramp from the hawthorne bridge that's been cut down and converted into a bicycle ramp. that's a solid wall. pedestrians can pass underneath the bridge to the rest of the park (farther left) but it serves as a barrier of sorts. so if i'm guessing right, the anarchists and the PP will be on opposite sides of that. the area to the right is fenced in and looks like an event space (like for carnivals). PP will have their backs to the river but that's probably on purpose. don't know what the cops will do but my guess is an L-shaped riot line along the street facing both ways and to the left. if they do that, then it'll probably just be a bunch of people shouting at each other. but if PP gets amped up on meth and kratom and decides to take off marching then all bets are off. edit: i'd add that gibson changed the plan originally. he was first going to meet at the plaza (the site for a lot of PP events) but moved it to this location. also some pretty good sight lines for police sharpshooters on those buildings... This has been a fairly common occurrence and I've been getting tips that these guys are showing up to shows the past few months. So I somehow missed this, but yesterday the New York Times hired Sarah Jeong (tech writer, generally awesome person, Gamergate target, and I believe a former goon) and someone dug up her old tweets full of ironic racism against white people.
