Otherwise, the only rules interaction in kill-team which really annoys me is how you're desperate to avoid getting the initiative if you team is bad at melee (like guard). Once my guard was charged, basically the melee dudes was safe until forever if I got initiative. Also, pile-in and consolidate of 3 inches each is too long in my opinion. Since the board is so small, it's an enormous distance and once a melee dude is on your board-half, he can basically effortlessly waltz up to all your dudes (especially if you're unfortunate enough to keep getting initiative). A combined consolidate/pile-in move is more than a quarter of the short edge of the board :/ Final nitpick, it didn't come up, but not being able to shoot pistols if you're charged, seems weird to me too. Otherwise, I really like the kill team rules. It's very fast and smooth and a lot of fun.

So much good armyshot posting. Here's my Squats right before the recent game with SRM mentioned on the lastest Badcast, on Dylan's retro display board in front of piles of retro goodness.  I've posted the close-up shots a million times, not gonna trouble you good goons with them again. EDIT: Only thing not finished there is the Hades Breaching Drill, hence the brighter red color. It's gonna get more work soon, after I finish these nonsense Daemon conversions in front of me.

My 2k gaurd/admech army I have set up to play a friends deathwatch. Not totally done painting. Eventually Im going to swap out the ad mech stuff so I can have a full 2k point gaurd list.

Heavy is actually a decent specialization for Assault weapons because you can ignore the -1 from advancing. e: Not an army but I just finished up my Death Guard kill team.
