there's no real evidence that's the reason why aside from media conjecture. there's a limited number of hollywood movies allowed each year and this season is already super packed with holdover releases from the summer like ant man and mission impossible. disney stores sell winnie the pooh dolls here for god's sake. stop watching john oliver

the pooh stuff in general is definitely the cpc not understanding the streisand effect but bureau chiefs were 100 percent sitting on drafts of these stories just waiting for the movie to not get a china release for whatever reason. now they get to run their speculation and watch it get passed around as gospel.

the stories themselves can't cite a source that confirms what they're claiming. they say so, in the stories. i know it's hard for you to read words longer than eight letters and paragraphs longer than three sentences but give it a try sometime.
