I was hoping that it was just blown out of proportion but no, they're actually doing it, and not just saying it was "only a small part of the platform" or something. This is one of those things where BC is different from the rest of Canada like how nobody gives a crap about French since it's now language #8 out here by "spoken in the home" with Russian, Arabic, Hindi, and German not too far behind. (And I'm sure Arabic and Hindi are gaining rapidly). This all per Census 2016.
