I do indeed, but more importantly AC.

I do like the heat though, so I'm kind of weird. I just like being able to get out of it when I want. As long as I can do that, it can be hot as hell.

I was sweating to death at 26 the other day :negative:

It's still a hard decision to leave the car in the garage. Now that i moved the seat ~6 inches back and 3-4 inches down, it's almost perfect. The rear view covers the whole back window, i can shoulder check through the opera windows. It's wonderful. The steering wheel is a little far away for comfort. I was going to check if it's pressed on or has a castle nut, in which case i could rig up an extension by drilling a couple holes in some ready rod. Just a shame the A/C has eaten it, and the vinyl roof could possibly be the hottest item on the planet at any given moment.

Also saw this for sale locally.

I appreciate the offer, but i think i've got too many tire fires on the go.

I ordered 2400 packing airbags with ford/lincoln parts interspersed within the package from rockauto. I'm going to hate myself when it's -30 in mid september and "should" turns to "must"

32 degrees in Alberta is worse than 42 degrees in las Vegas. Although 42 in las Vegas gave me nose bleeds somehow. Merritt/Kamloops does the same thing.

Speaking of nosebleeds...

holy gently caress, i think BC is trying to turn us all into jerky.

We've got a heat warning, and an air quality special statement, now all we need is a severe thunderstorm watch and we've got the Alberta summer trifecta.

Strenuous exercise in the smoke sucks. It's actually not that bad down here but didn't want to open the windows last night :(

I'm a little surprised you can have campfires still, would have thought firebans would have been in place but drinking and eating by the fire is the best part of camping so glad you could!

Jealous. Our area of Ontario has been under a fire-ban since early July.

Yeah went out today in the heat for like 4 hours, it was rough at the end when I ran out of water, but luckily it was mostly downhill at that point. Felt much better after a gatorade and slurpee and lunch.

Also surprised by the lack of a fire ban. I watched a helicopter dump a bucket on a grass fire next to the highway today. Although up in the forest everything if still pretty green.

Headed back to lethbridge tomorrow so I'd better drink the rest of this beer and burn the rest of the firewood.

Shop rate for pretty much anything is $80-$120 an hour now. That makes fixing almost anything a losing proposition.

I'm camped out in the basement with the A/C on full blast and a fridge full of beer. Unless there's a fire, i ain't leaving
