She's absolutely cool with this, btw. She's also bi (but has been out for a while) and tells me when she sees a woman she thinks is sexy/attractive. This whole time, I knew I was gay friendly/an ally, incredibly supportive. Now I know why.

Upper Kananaskis Lake is one of the nicest lakes you can drive right up to. The Banff and Jasper lakes are more famous, but us locals have many nice places to ourselves.

And too be fair, it feels like that here now. We're under a heat warning and are expecting to break an all time heat record on Friday with the hottest temperature ever recorded in the city plus we have an air quality advisory because it's smoky as gently caress from the fires in BC yet again. Being bombed to death sounds kind of nice.
