Real talk if I was bulldog I would have started the application process the moment tickets went on sale just to make sure. The guy actually assumed it would be easier to get into Canada than the USA as well which isn't really the case either.

EDIT: I was also going to mention honorariums/payments to speakers, but it turns out that applies to non-profits and academics only, and also partially irrelevant since again, Valve -> PGL -> Bulldog. People say there's no offlane anymore, but I think it would be more accurate to say there's no safelane. There's just two lanes where whoever wants to farm is very afraid and unhappy and then a third lane where whichever mid player didn't get to last-pick their hero is also very afraid and unhappy Dotas weird right now

Remember when the mid lane, the "true"* solo lane, turned into another dual lane, even tri-lane sometimes because people realized bringing in another dude really helps in a 1v1? * may not have actually been the true solo lane in dota history because
