Wikipedia posted:

What exists of a narrative in the song consists of an argument between the singers (Mickey Thomas and Grace Slick) and an unidentified "you", presumably a music industry executive, who is marginalizing the band and ripping them off by "playing corporation games" ("who counts the money underneath the bar?"). In response to this injustice, the singers remind the villain of their importance and fame: "Listen to the radio! Don't you remember? We built this city on rock and roll!" A spoken-word interlude explicitly mentions the Golden Gate Bridge and refers to "the city by the bay", a common moniker for Starship's hometown of San Francisco. Starship's predecessors, Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship, were prominent members of San Francisco's psychedelic rock scene in the late 1960s and into the 1970s. However, the interlude then rapidly refers to the same city as "the city that rocks", a reference to Cleveland, Ohio (home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum) and then "the city that never sleeps", one of the nicknames for New York City. Capitalizing on the ambiguity, several radio stations added descriptions of their own local areas when they broadcast the song, or even simply added their own ident in its place. The album's title, "Knee Deep In the Hoopla" is taken from a lyric in the first verse of this song. [2]

RoboCop was written by Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner. Neumeier stated that he first got the idea of RoboCop when he walked with a friend past a poster for Blade Runner. He asked his friend what the film was about and his friend replied, "It's about a cop hunting robots". For him, this sparked the idea about a robot cop.

The play consists of five acts in rhyming couplets. There are two prologues, two epilogues and a short final speech. The play begins with Bolloxinion, King of Sodom, authorising same-sex sodomy as an acceptable sexual practice within the realm. General Buggeranthos reports that this policy is welcomed by the soldiers, who spend less on prostitutes as a consequence, but has deleterious effects on women of the kingdom who have recourse to "dildoes and dogs". Prince Pricket and Princess Swivia commit incest with one another. With the court and country reduced to erotic madness, the court physician counsels: "gently caress women, and let Bugg'ry be no more". The king himself, however is unconvinced, while the Queen dies of venereal disease. Amid the appearance of demons, fire, and brimstone, Bolloxinion declares his intention to retire to a cavern and die in the act of sodomising his favorite – Pockenello.[3]

Compact disc reissues [edit]

The original compact disc release had mildly dull, slightly under-volume sound quality[citation needed], and reproduced the gatefold cover art and parts of the inner gatefold, neglecting the booklet and dust jacket art entirely. The remastered CD release has superior sound at improved volume levels. The fold-out CD booklet includes the cover art and provides much of the inner gatefold and dust jacket artwork by including it among the extensive liner notes. Also included is a CD-sized reproduction of the black & white booklet. Finally, the remaster includes bonus tracks of alternate takes, demos and a live recording of Starship with radio promos appended. Note that the editing glitch at 4:00 in the opening song, "Mau Mau (Amerikon)", is not an error in the digital transfer;[13] it goes back to the original album release.

Buddy was found by Kevin Dicicco as a stray dog in the Sierra Nevada in the summer of 1989.[1] DiCicco adopted the disheveled Golden Retriever and brought him home to San Diego, where he trained him in the sports of basketball, baseball, football, soccer, and hockey.[1] Buddy's most eagerly awaited sport is basketball. He was touted as the Michael Jordan of dogs. DiCicco revealed that Buddy tried to bite the ball, but its slipperiness, enhanced by saliva or more efficiently by olive oil, would propel it from his mouth.[2]

However, one of the players resource to cheat and sabotage the game causing the game to get out of control. Luigi tells him to stop blaming himself and should appreciate that his creation came to life. Kyle and the remaining players work together to resort the game. They got everything back to normal.

The only version to feature Thunder Childdirectly is the low-budget, direct-to-DVDPendragon adaptation, released in 2005. This version uses poorly executed CGI to portray Thunder Child as a Havock-class destroyer; it reverses the order of the ship's attack, using its guns first before successfully ramming in both cases. The vessel eventually sinks from heat ray battle damage.

Bert discovers a long-lost steam locomotive hidden deep in the Evergreen Forest. Meanwhile, Cyril discovers that inside the train is a stash of ten million dollars from a hundred years ago.

Goof: Cedric discovers that the engine is the Evergreen No. 504 on the Evergreen Express being an old 4-4-0 engine or an American type steam locomotive after removing the rust from the number plate, but the cab number is already visually seen on the smoke box door and on the tender when they first found the engine, because locomotives of the most common 4-4-0 wheel arrangement were used most common on American railroads, during the 1800s and 1830s up to the year of 1928.
