Halloween Jack posted:There are three of those? Is Eric Roberts in every one??? quote:The third installment in the popular [Stalked By My Doctor] Lifetime franchise, it marks Eric’s 74th movie role - just last year alone. As of this writing, he’s credited with 487 film and television appearances. In fact, he may well be considered for inclusion in Guinness World Records as the American actor with the most film credits. (The current world-title holder, the comedic Telugu film actor Brahmanandam Kanneganti, known for his “hilarious facial expressions,” clinched that record in 2010, with 857 screen appearances.) There are times when Eric does three movies in one day—literally racing from one indie set to another. Some days are so ridiculous as to be almost sublime, as when he acted simultaneously in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight and in Witless Protection with Larry the Cable Guy.

I never saw all of the first one, and assumed it ended with him falling off a bridge or something. How does he keep getting away with showing his first dates his summer house and proposing marriage?

I cannot believe they actually had a "Goldberg gets fired" angle. Of all the dumb things for a company to do this was somehow left off the list.

This wasn't the first "Goldberg gets fired" angle. It was just the one that stuck. After being pinned from Buff Bagwell's finisher. In a tag match, where Goldberg was partnered with a midget trainer. And interference from a planted fan, whose motivation and identity were never explained or even mentioned more than 3 minutes after the match.

And rather than do the smart thing and have Goldberg be the mystery fourth man in the WCW Title match (which had to follow the whole "Goldberg gets fired" bit) we instead get...Road Warrior Animal.

I had to duck out early. Something I've always wondered, but haven't confirmed because I _really_ don't want to watch Sid's leg get obliterated... what did everyone else do when it happened? I know Animal hadn't hit the ring yet, did Steiner and Jarrett just do what they could to kill time? Or did Scott just pin him to finish it?

They didnt show Sid's leg getting destroyed on the PPV, they had enough time to cut to a backstage video, so it kind of drastically cuts from Sid heading to the turnbuckle to the arrival of the mystery man. Steiner and Jarrett beat him up for a few more minutes and then the mystery man (Road Warrior Animal) ran in and punched Sid in the head and then Scott pinned him.

I thought on the original PPV broadcast Sid's leg breaking was aired in full? Not only that, but they repeated it over and over to stall for time while they could figure out how to end the match?

Shiki Dan posted:I thought on the original PPV broadcast Sid's leg breaking was aired in full? Not only that, but they repeated it over and over to stall for time while they could figure out how to end the match? Wrestling Observer Newsletter 1/22/2001 posted:The cameras not only missed it on PPV since at that point the focus was on Ric Flair opening up the car door for the mystery man. When the cameras got back in the ring, Sid was strangely laying on the ground immobile. There was no explanation for Sid's condition by the announcers nor was anything said about it before the show went off the air. The show ended revealing Road Warrior Animal instead of the originally planned Rick Steiner as the mystery man, a decision made largely because the feeling was too many people expected it to be Steiner, but that kind of booking because one or two percent of the audience knows and changing stories for that reason is a Russo mindset that they need to get away from.

So...Sid ended his career being forced to do a top rope that he didn't want to, and THE CAMERAS MISSED IT. I can't possibly think of a more WCW way to retire.

The entire show had a problem with camerawork so that may well have been intended as a big spot. The director didn't seem to know what was going to happen most of the time.
