To elaborate on Nova's powers. 1 - Turn Nova into a mini turret. Functional. 2 - Create a ball that you can shoot and it blows up multiplying the damage you put into it. Fun for massive damage output. 3 - Probably why you're comparing her to Zephyr but I almost never touch this now since parkour came out. 4 - You can set her to have less than 100% strength and she causes all the enemies to speed up while covered in explosives. Why would you want to do that? Infested defense, get everyone in the drat room fast and quick so you can blow them all up. Or crank the strength up and watch them slow to a crawl. So she can have excellent crowd control, or speed up defense games, or produce massive damage as well as having decent self defense. She's a very good frame.

even with archwings and zephyr, ranged nova done well is still the fastest way to cross the plains. it's just that that distinction is mostly pointless, since the other options are still plenty fast.

The farm is annoying if you're unlucky. She's okay, her crowd control is better that it was at launch but it still isn't a frost bubble. But she's pretty alright overall. If you have a good melee riven then Khora, along with Atlas and Gara, can crank out silly, silly, silly damage numbers with her first ability. It works like old exalted weapons in that it just appropriates the mods on your melee, this includes rivens. Because of this my Khora's 1 now hits for bare minimum of tens of thousands of damage before any combo counter building or any other buffs.

It so annoying I have a melee riven for my Dual Ceres and I am going to use that combined with Khoras 1. But since the riven is mr 16 and I am mr 12. Feels like I hit a giant brick wall in leveling my mr. I also have a killer riven for my Pyrana that is 16. Once I hit that I'll be maining Khora a lot more.

Just got a 75% market discount, somebody tell this noob what Warframe to get. I'm interested in Octavia but fear she'll be useless outside of a dedicated and well oiled group. Nidus and Harrow grinds look awful so I brought those. Also brought Ivara but I probably should've just grinded it. I pretty much only have Octavia and Khora to go. Khora might end up being painful because I still have 1 part left and I've done it a ton but at least it's pretty easy and good experience.

I love Equinox though, especially when there's defense alerts for stuff on low level maps. Pop in, turn 4 on and just listen to dying screams in the distance. It got some newbies really concerned.

Octavia's buffs are strong enough to make you extremely powerful even solo, in fact one of the most versatile frames. The fact that they affect other team members is just a (huge) bonus.

Octavia absolutely does not need a group. It's the group that benefits from the Octavia. She can trivialize a ton of content and is excellent solo and in a group.

Got stuck a little on the "10-point margin" Index bit. Now thinking about whether I want to grind for the Nidus parts or just buy the frame outright, because having to submit to RNG for who knows how many rounds of Salvage... Just remembered I have Tigris Prime coming out of the oven too aww yeah

What is wrong with archwings, imo: your ship moves instantly with your controls, the "engines" to change yaw and pitch must be fantastic. but when you want to move in X,Y,Z, it runs weird, with a weird inertia. people have not problem with a space fligth simulator that simulate how planes flight in athmosphera and follow that rules. And people have not problem with a space simulator that simulate how objects fly in space, in the void, with newtonian physics. the archwing model is the worst of the worst, because it make ships hard to control, and it don't feel real. now, if the missions where designed differently, the flyiing model could be ignored. but we get replicas of millenial hank escaping from the death star, and that put a lot of stress in the flyiing model, making you feel stupid every time you fail to aim to the corridor and thats many times in these missions. on the missions on open space theres no dogfighting or any other type of reaction possible from the player, is a weird shooting gallery, and not a good one they could have made a mission where two motherships start shooting at each other with huge lasers and barrages of nukes and you are tasked with killing a few turrets, or fighting the fighters, to push one faction to win. What could make space insterestg, space porn, is not here. they could even use space to have some sort of detective mode thing, where we flight from debrish to debrish, tryiing to find a hidden object.. Or give us some sort of space plains of eidolon, where we fight and mine at our leisure. Or have a mission where we protect a ship moving from A to B. maybe is a good idea to put time elsewhere, because maybe pushing archwing from bad to mediocre has littel merit, while pushing other parts of the game from really good to brilliant is a more worthy use of dev time.
