So the story mode isn't out right? Its just press have access with no embargo on it which is why I keep seeing tweets about Tanahashi's steely gaze or whatever.

Uh ok. They haven't even taken pre-orders for promoter mode which was announced well after they started selling the game. Unless you're talking about people bought the game just cause they said they wanted to do a promoter mode.

I'm also pretty sure the venn-diagram of people who would buy Fire Pro World and would buy it if it had a Promoter Mode is basically a huge circle for the former and a smaller circle for the latter completely inside of it. Promoter mode is not really a deal-maker-or-breaker for people who like FPW games.

The closest Fire Pro ever got to being a deal breaker for me was having to keep playing returns as more and more cool moves were innovated in real life. World seems truly evergreen, especially on the PC. It is worth every dollar they ask for it and more.

While I'm on the subject, I'd like an option to randomly populate people from a specific roster/faction as opposed to from all 900 caws i have, some of whom are gamebreakingly different (like ufc guys for example). Does Carlzilla do that? I've never really gotten it set up.

Maybe also with the ability to choose how long a clip runs for, whether it runs from the beginning of a match or starts in progress, etc. Could really add to the illusion that your custom promotion has its own game.

I do hope they fix the clear gently caress-up in translation the nL guys found in Fighting Road. The objective for a tag match with Nagata says to "use illegal/rough moves" but it actually means to NOT use those.

The very next match they were told the same thing only with the wording being "focus on using", and didn't fail for cheating Unless that was the translation gently caress-up and the game glitched letting them pass

The story mode seems to be made with the most basic of Visual Novel software, so I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to make modded Story modes.
