There's a lot of good points being made esp. wrt buckcherry about what the worst music is but it's actually the nightmarish adult contemporary stylings of Train, who is not only hellishly bad, but also still reliably charting somehow, with a song about harassing the DJ at a club, bragging about how much money you have, and that your go to gently caress Song is Hoagy Carmichael's Heart & Soul.

I don't usually admit this, but when I was 12 years old I had a Soul Asylum t-shirt. I was confused at the store and I thought Soul Asylum was Collective Soul, which isn't much less embarrassing. But it got me sent home from school because it was designed like a Jagermeister label. I had no idea, and my parents are teetotalers so they didn't either.
