I think Quiyum and Rusty's similarities are more meant to highlight how they're thematically gender-flipped versions of each other rather than literally related. That episode, as mentioned, is a bit... ehh in gender politics but I think meant to emphasise that girl adventurers are just as hosed up as boy adventurers. Also, Dean moving out on his own seems to be another application of his rare talent of common sense, especially after his home came to life and tried to run away. (during which Hank was notably out and about, and at minimum safe distance. Probably.) Makes me wonder at what rate Rusty is burning through his inheritance. The repairs to the HQ can't be cheap, and we all know how bad and unmotivated Rusty is at business management.

So the face Kano made in ORB when Brock asked him if he killed Jonas was actually because Kano thought he did when they dropped his frozen corpse. As for his vow of silence that might be because he sabotaged Blue Morpho's plane, though on who's orders if anyone's is still unclear.

It was heavily implied his vow of silence was because he killed Blue Morpho. Kano did work under Jonas but he was originally Blue Morpho’s buddy. I also don’t think the plane got sabotaged, It was just an unfortunate accident. I mean he was flying it in heavy rain.

But yeah, seriously, they came out and told us exactly what Kano did immediately before Kano stopped talking, and we also know that the Gargantua II thing happened 10-15 years after the Venturion thing, so it's not like the two events are close enough together that there's any ambiguity. Now, of course, maybe five seconds after dispatching Robomorpho, he went and killed some other totally great man who was standing just on the other side of the statue and ran over to see what all the commotion was, and he startled Kano, and Kano just up and snapped him in half or something. But I doubt it because that's pretty far-fetched.

Someone claimed the bounty on blue morpho though - I wonder who. (Jonas through an intermediary?) The cause of the plane crash is definitely still a mystery. Did phantom limb sound really weird in this episode? All of his line deliveries are...off and he sounded like fuckin' stewie when he said "what the devil?".
