Do you need to get a new transfer code every so often or is it a one and done type deal? And do they restore your account to the status it was at the time you got the code or do you get all your poo poo back regardless? I realize these are incredibly basic and very dumb questions but I'll be damned if I take any chances with losing my punchnun. The RNG will not be merciful a second time.

Transfer codes should last forever, but you can only use each one once so any time you transfer you need to generate a new one. They're an access key to your account on the server, not a saved state, so you don't need to keep renewing it.

Back to the way it was the last time you loggedi n, not the time you set your transfer code. Otherwise people could just set up a transfer code, roll a bunch, then 'reload' if they didn't get anything good.

From what I understand, the tl;dr of it is that her NP can hit harder than Xuanzang's, but Xuanzang can use hers more consistently and also provides the rest of the party some utility with her third skill.

Y'know, I'm no magical girl expert, and I've never watched Prism Illya because I like it when I can convince myself that pandering to thought criminals in anime is marginal/unintended, but the tone of this event is a little... Do these guys even really like magical girls? It's like one of the seasons of Kamen Rider where you get the feeling the writers are going "pfffblt, justice" to themselves during cigarette breaks

This is a problem even the best, most well loved deconstructions experience (Watchmen, Spec Ops: The Line, etc.), and one of the reasons they tend to be oblique to outsiders who mostly see them as doing a thing, then telling you how bad that thing be.

In regards to transfer codes, in case you're serious about the game, I'd recommend buying the cheapest quartz bundle once even if you're dead set on being F2P. The receipt for that will guarantee you can get your account back if you ever do lose your transfer code, since it's way easier to locate an account with a paper trail.

Thought experiment: Chloe and Rider Kintoki are both considered some of the best 4* SR in the game, both because they hit hard, have ST NP spam capability to a certain extent, and are a guaranteed NP5. What if every SR was now automatically NP5 as well. How would the overall rankings stand at that point? Would Chloe and Kintoki still be top? Who would move up, if any?

It subvert the usual magical girl trappings and setting elements but the themes and spirit of traditional magical girl shows is very much alive. There's a reason why Illya and Miyu have the two and only sources of consequence-free unlimited magical power in the whole franchise and it's not just for the HA gag. Drei has shonen fights but magical girl resolutions. To put it simply, when Shirou says "I will save everyone", the story frames it as a dream. i'm not getting the vibe that Prilya hates or is mean-spiritedly making fun of the genre, it's just an event that has jokes about genre tropes (mascot servants/Gudako slipping into mascot speech) or throws character curveballs like Medea being a scale modeling enthusiast. everything outside of the jokes leans into darker styles of magical girl but still feels earnest.
