...are all on our watchlist now. The theme is, uh, "Mostly space and vampires" and yes I've already seen Planet of the Vampires and no I will not watch Queen of Blood because I can't take that hairdo seriously.

Your first 3 are all favorites of mine. Dead End Drive-In isn't really a horror movie, but it's great. Waxwork II is a really fun movie as well, and has a pretty effective parody/homage to Alien in it. When Prometheus came out I actually negatively compared a scene in it to that scene because I thought the comedy horror movie did it better.

The Vestron Blu-Ray release of both movies has commentary from director Anthony Hickox and Zach Galligan which is pretty great. Galligan had put on a little bit of weight since Gremlins, but wasn't far by any means. So one night he's flipping through channels and comes upon a horror marathon hosted by Gilbert Gottfried. Who then announces "Next up is Waxwork, starring Zach Galligan after eating 40 cheeseburgers!"
