Ahmadinejad gives the impression of being a WJ Bryanesque religious left wing populist, but I don't know enough about his actual politics to say for sure. I do know that when he attacks the ruling government in Iran he does it from the left.

Well, it's pretty hard to attack any modern government from anywhere but the left without being a literal nazi.

I finished that one a few months ago. Working my through Revolution Betrayed which is a pretty good summary of what went down up until 1936 (from Trot's perspective anyway)

why? the ussr would obviously never be let into the anti-ussr alliance, but by applying they do show it for what it is

Gotta be honest, the law enforcement and intelligence communities really don't seem all that threatening if they're just openly admitting they've infiltrated every profession. Like, it's dystopian as gently caress, but you gotta question that capabilities of a group that brags about things that should be kept on the DL.

Tbf to felix the controls for the first mgs do kind of suck. Thats back before they really figured out how to make controlling characters in a 3d space in any way intuitive.

There's a difference between promoting the agency by painting it in broad strokes and "revealing" its actual operations, which they would never do. It's not like the FBI is gonna make a twitter thread about their responsibility in the 1994 wtc bombing or anything. I lack the intellectual capacity to clearly say what I mean, so in short, baba booey

Also, the guy in new mexico who was training kids to commit school shootings and released on a "technicality" is the brother of the guy the fbi set up in the wtc bombings. Pretty wacky coincidence huh

hey folks im reading A River in Darkness and it kinda sucks big league I'm not like gonna throw a parade to defend how people probably live in the DPRK but the author seems to conveniently ignore that market capitalism made him a refugee and communists saved him, all while hitting every single point that every Bill O'Reilly capitalist culture warrior rants about one after the other, in chronological order I also cannot find any info on either the book or the author, except from right wing news sites and review aggregators (which are next to useless for politically charged books) what gives? is this guy still a super secret dude or is it all probably made up or embellished and nobody wants to admit it?
