All these "ULTRA OPERATOR EXTREME" knives are hilarious. They're all so over-designed and unusable for their supposed target demographic. My current job has me issued a multitool, a decent Benchmade folding knife, and a SOG Seal Pup (essentially a smaller ka-bar with some serrated edges), all of which see a lot of use...in cutting things that aren't people. "Combat knives" have largely turned into "multipurpose cutting tools that you could maybe stab the enemy with if you feel like it" in the armed services, and the groups that still keep the "explicitly for murdering"-style weapons mostly do it out of tradition.

I don't even see what barb wire would actually add to the bat-hitting experience. It would just create a superficial puncture wound, the real damage would come from the bludgeoning not from a couple small cuts.
