windows pro is now home, but with business features that home users don't care about because we needed to move actual business users over to enterprise subscriptions also, office 365 personal and home are different because personal is one license for office poo poo, and home is 5

Note that there is no one-click way to get to Ease of Access from here (for example: "Ease of Access" is not a link). I mean: goddamn.

It's just that: dont be mean to me posted:[...]there ought to be an ease of access link on that page Like, if the background was disabled via GP then ok: that's done for a reason, an affirmative choice was taken by someone other than the user to make it do this. In this case the ease-of-use would have been set by the user so it should show the user how to do what the user clearly wants to do (change the background, this being a menu where the user is sent to do so). It's loving terrible UX IMO? Schadenboner fucked around with this message at 00:20 on Sep 6, 2018 |

Last Chance posted:ms hates their users and wishes their users were also computers ill admit i dont have a great view of microsoft as someone who only uses windows 10 at work and literally none of their other products but my uninformed view is that microsoft views windows in general and the ui specifically as a case of "this is what is and everyone knows what it is and we dont really care if its great or not because everyone who uses windows does so because its either their job or they actually like it so theres no reason to fix anything even if our corporate culture allowed for such things which it doesnt"
