Played the whole intro section of Spiderman. Very reminiscent of the Arkham series. Webswinging is delightful. Gonna have a whooolllle lotta fun with this one. the most impressive thing about jumping flash is how much it doesn't actually change much about the x68k game it's a sequel to, because there's not actually that much that needs to be fixed since geograph seal got all of the core essentials nailed down from the very beginning lol it's hosed up though that the jumping flash series' core progression is geograph seal > jumping flash > jumping flash 2 > robbit mon dieu > ghost in the shell

Anyone else excited about the new Umihara Kawase (Fresh) for Switch? Sound like it's going to be more of a Metroidvania-influenced game: https://twitter.com/success_g3/status/1037935621233201152 Not much is known about it yet (just teaser art) as they're showing it off at the Tokyo Game Show in a couple weeks. Hopefully Kiyoshi Sakai is still involved.

Death Stranding the game will inevitably be a disappointment to many. Death Stranding the social experiment where Hideo Kojima takes $100 million of Sony's money to make Lea Seydoux and Norman Reedus be friends with him has been very successful so far.
