Sizeable nerfs to Ryze, Sej, and Trundle, and a few love taps to some other champs. I want to say they're playing it too conservatively this close to Worlds, but I can understand their trepidation after both this year's craziness and last year's Ardent meta. I imagine 8.19 will be the actual Worlds patch, so I guess we'll see what they cook up.

Honestly, HOTS is pretty easy to learn and there's way less emphasis on evaluations like, "If I'm level 7 with a small gold/item advantage, can I kill this enemy Graves if I'm at 86% health, given the probability that the enemy midlaner is roaming top?"

i tried playing smite but then there was a guy with a global stun and the enemy team picked that character and their version of blitzcrank(who is a jungler) and the enemy team comboed by global stunning and then having the blitzcrank jungler pull me into the woods for free during the stun. so i said what the gently caress is this character and someone on my team said "you can just stand still to avoid the stun" so i uninstalled the game

I liked playing Serqet and Nemesis a lot, but it just didn't grab me in quite the same way as League.

Here's the 8.18 notes. They confirm that 8.19 will be the official Worlds patch, so I'm expecting Braum and maybe Kai'Sa to get dinged again. They keep trying to figure out how to make Trundle not a god champ in pro, but I still expect him to see constant play. Viktor might see more play now that his first back isn't so punishing. Again, though, not much to really talk about.

I am so disappointed in myself. I was 5 LP away from Gold 4 promos and lost my game which I had a hand in and one of our team mates left 20 minutes in. Been still only climbing 13-17 lp per game and every loss I still lose 22 LP. I went on full tilt and should have logged for the night but I ended up losing three in a row. Sucks so much.

Focus on improving your game. Look for opportunities to improve. It's fine to vent and be frustrated but you should never be complacent with yourself if you truly care about climbing the ranked ladder. The reason everyone here relentlessly mocks you is because you do not heed their advice or you argue against it. Our criticism is not personal we are just trying to help players with less knowledge improve.
