Sandwich cakes (we literally call them that - "smörgåstårta") is an extremely common thing over here in Swedenland. Apparently it's a Swedish enough thing that the English Wikipedia page just straight up uses the Swedish name for it. According to the Swedish wiki page, it was invented here in Sweden in the 1940s. So there you go.

The "kimchi" one is labeled "chili oil flavor" in Japanese (ra-yu). That's the stuff in the little bottle on the table at ramen shops. Still not pleasant as a ramune, but also quite distinct from kimchi flavor.
