I liked the movies for the most part-but even as a kid I just kinda found the classic series boring, since the outcome was always the same, which would have been fine if I found the characters funny or the monsters cool-neither of which was the case for me.

 In a bit of a shame front mission 5 ended in sorta the far future of the whole front mission timeline, so you had future wanzers you saw but didnt get to use that are way more advanced than the old slip slidey walking tanks and since its a dead series they will never be usable. booooo Its a good swan song game the same way suiko 5 was a good swan song, and takes place throughout the whole series with references to everything for fans. Your main characters never get older though, its a bit odd.

I think it's really cool that Georg, one of the main characters of Suikoden 5, originally showed up in 2 as some random inexplicably strong dude and if you don't have your detective investigate him you have no idea who he is at all

I couldn't really even tell you why I hate it, it's one of those deep-rooted things that formed during childhood when it was on tv all the loving time and I just remember being like "well if my choice is watching scooby-doo or not watching cartoons at all..." & turning off the tv
