seriouspost: my theory is that the culture of "all free speech all the time if you don't like it you're just a cuck sjw!!!" makes that kind of poo poo seem acceptable, especially places like 4chan with terminal anime poisoning, so people who might not have otherwise gone down that route find themselves surrounded by a bunch of creeps who treat anyone saying "hey maybe don't gently caress kids" as proof that you're a horrible snowflake prude and, yeah.

this also gives the false idea that everyone is fine with this sort of thing, or at least everyone who would ever read your dumb blog, hence that guy writing about it. see also: the number of people who will flat-out tell you they're a "lolicon" the way someone else might say "i'm into wood shop hobbies", like it's just their identity.
