I also went 2/3 on the FF2 RoP, pulling some Richard kit and Joseph's USB. That's uh, somethin. Still, with FF1 remaining, my net result from RoP includes (among other things) like four new USBs on top of everything else. It really is the best value in the game other than free 33-pulls and poo poo.

Yeah, definitely don't be afraid to ask for a carry party. Plenty of people are happy to help, especially if you host and save them some stamina. Even the hardest MP fights are starting to become a joke for veteran players, so slotting in a cute newbie is easy enough.

Just in case you haven't seen it, the first few posts sum the main things up pretty well ( https://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3861719&userid=0&perpage=40&pagenumber=1#post485603427 for general progression) Particularly the part about pushing events that are gonna end over the realm dungeons that are always there. They're your main source for new characters (though hero souls and T1/T2 break crystals are handed out very easily so don't be afraid to spend them) and some new abilities, a RW with an overstrike can solo the fights for you up to at least 100, and it feels SO GOOD when you manage to push that threshold of what you can handle up a level. Also for a newbie the gyshal exchange will be handy for 100stamina potions. Refreshes every wednesday, useful for those times you're one stamina gem short of a refill in the realm dungeons, or when doing events since they don't have stamina gems. It's hidden behind the Annex button, and they used to notify when it refilled but that stopped maybe 6 months ago. And finally, don't be afraid to ask questions. This game's been going on for a while and there's been power and mechanics creep, even with the guides it can be a bit overwhelming to figure out what's worth paying attention to.

You can also get carried in single player by using a roaming warrior. If you find one with an overstrike soul break in an element the boss is weak to (or at least doesn't resist) you can oneshot most encounters with difficulty less than 100

A reasonable person waits for power creep to do 5* Quetz. A slightly unreasonable person waits for Stone Press to break Savage mode. An unreasonable person tries to break savage with the non elemental OK OSB but it’s too weak. A total madman gives OK +30% sword damage RM to hit over 10k with his weak rear end OSB.

 I got the fire mage starter pack, with Terra, Krile, and Vincent Ultras all at once. I free-pulled a Vincent chain just yesterday too so I think the game's trying to tell me something. I dunno... (Tell me the truth, does Papalymo with his burst match up to any of these?)

Delita's USB is extremely good if you have a chain to go with it. Fortunately he can fit into fire, ice, and lightning teams just fine, especially now that there are 6* spellblades for each of those elements (he can do holy too but all his materia are for spellblade). He's probably the best non-Butz multi-element spellblade. Don't bother with the BSB, it's just damage. The IC2 you get from the USB is worth it every time.

Cecil USB, Firion USB, Xezat USB from the 25 thingy Holy is so stupendously stuffed for me, but I could always use more FF2 stuff, and Ill be glad to use Cecil with some decent effect again. More Physical Ice is always nice, and all 3 are +element weapons. good haul after the pretty disappointing fest.

Does Onion's mUSB give hastega, or just haste himself? The game is inconsistent in wording, his BSB says "to all allies", pUSB is "grant them Haste" and mUSB says "blah blah to all allies, grants haste, and enter Sage EX Mode"
