Individual awards are stupid and the Puskas award is the stupidest of them all. Perhaps I'm being overly cynical (not sure if that's possible when it comes to FIFA) but what are the chances that they intentionally gave the award to a goal that would generate a lot of discussion about their fancy new awards ceremony that a lot of people (myself and anyone I've spoken to about it included) didn't even know was taking place?
