It’s funny how rose tinted glasses this thread is about Patrice now. Because I remember, especially when he sat in almost full time when Jim was out, that everyone hated how he laughed so loud, barreled over all conversation, etc.

I personally found Patrice boring on relationship/wimmenz poo poo cause I just don't think like that and I didn't find it interesting. But overall, he was objectively funny and brilliant. I dn't even think Patrice bombed on the show and certainly can't remember a time he had a BAD appearance. . Polarizing or even frustrating as he was, he undoubtably was good at what he did.

Patrice talking about relationships and his philosophies was always funny on stage, but was painfully bad on the Black Phillip Show. It worked much better as a bit than as an advice show. That being said, the BP show was the least funny thing Patrice ever did. His O&A appearances were always good (sometimes legendary), his standup was great, he was funny on Tough Crowd, and great on podcasts/interviews.
