And Zack is one of those people who really needs an outside editor to reign in his excesses. He's a phenomenally talented artist and comedian, he just doesn't know how to kill his darlings. I'm guessing the frequent funny digressions were Zack's way of keeping motivated/de-stressing. And a lot of the abrubt jumps also came off like they were getting impatient and wanted to introduce new plot points they'd been sitting on for years, but hadn't been able to get to because of the frequent funny digressions. This is an actual tragedy, Poppy is fantastic. I hope there's some way for Morbi to bring it back. Speaking of defunct websites, An Ordinary Princess (which ended its run, though I'm not sure if it was a temporary thing) got domain hijacked and now my RSS has been spitting articles about SEO at me. The artist thought she had bought the domain, but thinks the web host screwed it up. Occasionally I'll go through my way-too-large RSS list and see what strips haven't updated in a long time, or have outright defunct websites. Sometimes I can't even find the creator's presence online any more.

Good news, the Poppy site's back online and there's also finally a new page. Turns out one of my plugins suddenly decided to stopped playing nice and broke the entire site again after I got my domain/SSL issues sorted out. Sorry about all that.
