Man I miss the time when loving everything didn't have to be politicized, both on the internet and elsewhere. Sometimes I feel like I should have stuck my head in the toilet and flushed about the 2007 time frame, if this is what the future was going to be like. So I don't work in AI or Machine learning stuff, but I work in an office with people who do, and I remember showing them this video when it came out, and many laughs were had. It feels a bit like someone with some technical knowledge, who's really into science fiction, not understanding what they're talking about. I mean, it could have been worse. I don't mind his videos; he generally talks about things I'm interested in, but his editing is still off and he hasn't gotten much better over the years.
