Memorable like a childhood cult favorite. O’Malley’s work on it is up there with the best he’s done. It is so good

To me it feels like where they'd end up if they were making Jam Room today instead of 20 years ago: not disjointed per se but more cobbled together than they've been in a bit. The production feels weird too but that may just be in my head. Plus they use a loving horn line at one point, that's new. I will say that Gimme The Keys as a song kicks up some real nostalgia if nothing else. I'm not from the great plains (coastal plains 4lyfe) but it brings to mind what it was like living no where and trying to claw some kind of music scene into existence. Good loving times...
