Is there ever a point as Naz where you should just maybe cut your losses and take something else as 20? Like if you don't think the game will go on long enough?

Garg at 20 is a perfectly fine ult to take. If your team is behind and you need like 30+ stacks just take garg. Especially if a big objective is coming up.

Gargantuan ult is pretty good because the cooldown reduction means you can throw it out pretty much constantly

I think Bolt is considered the best at high levels because it's an instant escape teleport if you get caught in a bad situation. That said, I like Fury myself and I've seen some people advocate the upgraded Wailing Arrow if you're good at landing the center. I've never really taken Fury on Nazeebo because all his other 20 talents seem more compelling to me.

Spam Q at the enemy, scout for your team during rotations, shield incoming burst, and cry in anguish when your team mates ignore the portals to safety. I like Ley Line Seal because you can steal boss with it.

Don't pick Ley Line Seal your first couple of games though, because it will lead to Void Prison-esque situations where everybody will whiff their abilities.

Flippantpost: Even as someone who has levelled Medivh to 10 (TWICE!) I still can't see why you'd want Ley Line Seal. Polymorph Bomb would be a good button (as an instant hard disable with no cast time or projectile) without spreading. With, it's a teamfight decider that is much less hassle to use. Then, I'm that greedy gently caress who hardly ever Portals for someone else (what'll be the point, they won't use it and then *I* might need it.) Medivh is just The Best.

Completely nullifying an entire dive team if you find yourself being rushed while unprepared. Frankly, I cannot imagine anyone not finding a use for it. Poly just seems pretty unreliable to me.

A perfect Ley Line Seal is one that removes 3-4 members of the enemy team from the fight for a few seconds, allowing you to murder the 1-2 with impunity. When it ends, you are now at a 1-2 number advantage and can clean up.

This is 100% anecdotal but I've had pretty positive matches overall in TL solo so far and I prefer the draft-in-any-order of TL more

Agree with above, all reports right now are that you're much more likely to get people that want to play as a team in TL right now, rather than 4 other people that all want to play assassins. I hope this lasts....

I too have been enjoying solo queueing in team league. If i meet nice people sometimes we form a team. Since you can solo queue in TL now, what the hecks the difference between HL and TL(besides HL apparently being full of screeching yahoos)?

No limits on ranks, meaning teams can be composed of bronzes and masters and if you are unlucky you can get a team of solo queues vs a five-stack. TL also lacks a fixed draft order.

About 50% of my hero league teams have at least one noncommunicative/throwing/soloing player, which we in some (rare) circumstances can overcome. Any solo players in TL have a different experience? I'm gold 2.

This is also anecdotal but my buddy who's in gold has been really enjoying his solo TL matches so-far my only complaint about TL is that it sucks getting put against a 5 stack but oh well

Everyone that responded above suggests TL is not generally like that and is in most ways a vastly preferable experience right now unless you only want to play solo queuers at your rank. I can see in particular Master and GM players preferring HL to control game quality, but at least in wood league TL seems to engender somewhat less frustration and insanity.

Mephisto has been really great for the overall winrate when I play matches with my friend. He's always had an issue with diving too far into the enemy team. But with mephisto's teleport it eventually forces him back out of the enemy team so he's been dying way less
