The writing is weird, because a lot of the time it feels as if the characters do what they're doing because the plot demands it, without actually having an in-universe reason. Or there are interesting setpieces (driving through the creepy abandoned subway tunnel, Derrida and that other guy sneaking into the evil company while wearing suits), but the writers couldn't think of a way to link up those parts, so...they didn't even bother and just hard cut from one to the other.

Run With The Wind Ep. 2 is just a reminder that people at Production I.G. are really good at making pictures move. If enough people are watching it, I might make a thread. I like all the characters, they're fun together and can't wait to see them develop. It looks they'll actually run next week. Also like Season 3 of Free, seeing a college setting in anime really trips me out for some reason. also we saw all the boys naked this week here are my fav boys so far eating breakfast right next together

double decker, reincarnated as a slime, skull-face bookseller honda-san, and the vampire neighbor anime are all pretty good and worth watching, imo, if you want to have a nice fun time. never watch the space fish show. rerided is disappointing. i'm dreaming of a day when anyone else gets to stream spyce and bloom into you but otherwise have no opinions on them.. double decker is the best. that's my season so far. thank you for reading.

My personal "shaping up to be something special" list: Run With The Wind, Gridman, Zombieland. Pretty anime I'm watching: Bunny girl senpai, Irozuku. Fun ones: Slime, Honda-san, Golden Kamuy S2, Anima Yell.
