You escaped the China thread and now exist here as refugees. This thread clutters the forums. There are enough threads already. The mods will not protect you forever. Now close this thread and merge its users with the China thread.

A historical redevelopment in my city that got a huge tax break to do so and the developers initially saying they wanted to build some family-sized units because the city is desperate for anything bigger than 2br just changed the address to 888 and the "family" sized unit is selling for 10 million. Don't say marketing luxury housing to foreign investors has any impact on the local housing market though or you're a racist. Also fun local news, mainland chinese affiliated groups in Vancouver were caught in a vote-buying scheme where they sent out fliers to the chinese community telling them they would be given money and a free ride to the polling station in exchange for a promise to vote for the pro-chinese-government candidates. Of course this is all just a big cultural misunderstanding please don't say china is waging a campaign to influence and control local elections, student councils and university organizations, or the local business community.
