Moth is about chaos and yearning that is inherently self destructive. However, that destruction isn't necessarily final (that seems the purview of Winter) but transformative. The whole Moth ascension seems like it will be about shedding your skin over and over to become something new each time until you finally just CHIM out of your mortal form. Im still super interested in how the Moth "consumed the Wheel" from the inside and took its skin. We know it's a God-From-Blood, perhaps the first, but what sacrifice done by humans (presumably) did that, and what was the purpose?

Aha, managed to get my first victory (enlightenment ascension with Mirror of Glory, finished off by sacrificing the "Pope") just before the update. I totally didn't murder half my pawns for no good reason after miscounting the power requirements. All in all it was good fun over the weekend although I felt that vaults were too easy and random city tasks were too hard, or at least too punishing on unavoidable failures. On the winning run I never sent any named cultists on non-vault tasks. After some tinkering I found this table layout fairly usable: Autocollection pops cards out in the empty upper-right, extra verbs pop out on the left margin, with some extra slots near the day timer since it often leads to two or three in sequence. (Spoilered just in case, since it shows a lot of the NPCs and lores.)

If you don't know what a slot is asking for, click on it. Any card that can fit in that slot will glow briefly. I was originally planning on waiting until the second big update to get into this again, but after jumping into a Paradox game after multiple DLCs and feeling like I had no idea how to play anymore, I think this might also be the kind of game where it's a good idea to take in new content in manageable bites so I'm not just totally lost. Time to dance.
