The best MP experience I had was playing Rust. I really want to do an ethnographic study on the player base because it is way more toxic than any other game Ive ever seen. Slurs are a norm. Your friend will be with you the entire month and right before wipe, they will stab you in the back, lock you out of your base and steal the rest of your poo poo. Playing solo is an exercise in futility. Youll work for weeks to get stuff and have it taken in seconds. You dont make friends, you make tentative cease fire agreements to possibly trade. The game is loving intense. Hard but intense. Some boring parts but man do you lose hours playing it.

This is survival games in general. Even the more stable goon groups in ark had the occasional misfit that would gently caress everything up to see poo poo burn.
