You do realize that actually being nice to the guy who puts in long hours making free stuff we love is more likely to convince him to put this minor art error on his 'to fix' list, rather than telling him to stop feeling hurt that a pretty complicated page is being defined by some hand typos? Dude's human and he clearly puts a lot of himself into this. Him tweeting for sympathy doesn't hurt any of us, and makes it pretty clear the thumb-razzing went further than is actually useful in pointing out the issue. As someone who has been hurt in a similar manner, lashing out at it only makes it worse. You're right though, I will make one major correction. Sometimes it is hard not to make a scene on the internet, dude. But you still shouldn't do it. Just walk away from the feedback for a day or two and come back so you can say "this was all some grade A Stupid poo poo that blew over in a day or two, glad I missed it".

It's a tiny mistake. Why keep making jokes about it when Operant spends a ton of time and effort on the quality of this comic and is obviously not happy about those jokes? How valuable is a cheap laugh compared to maintaining the good relationship between a good creator and his audience?
