I bet you could do all sorts of weird stuff with gravity working differently on each of you. I'm a little disappointed that Thorsby hasn't already overthought all the different combinations, actually

If they hadn't been relying on the spell then Audrey probably could've taken out the artist and they could've handled the zombies more carefully.

is anyone else worried that the alien's chopped off head is actually still alive (thorsby loves his weird anatomy) and will bite Lyndons leg in the next strip? the way it is oriented has me concerned for him :ohdear:

Why would anyone be concerned about Lyndon.

Phaiston have long avoided the tightly competetive defence sector, but the IRDA Act 2052 has given us the freedom we need to bring out something really special.

Also, all the characters who are floating are now in a position where they can fall safely. The only real problem is that I think the painter would land on Klara and Trixie.

are there any characters whose situation right now wouldn't improve if gravity went back to pointing down right this instant

which is why it won't happen

There's a convenient tree Klara can hang from so Trixie has both hands free to go all slaughteraxe on the zombies.

The archmage of unexpected stinks.

The Elusive Artist has survived the zombie forest for a while. I bet they reach up and grab his brushes and paint tube things and camo themselves.

Added side benefit: they'll both be slightly lighter since the paint has reversed gravity.

I am unsure why they care if the artist dies? Beyond thier dumbass wizard losing this spell.

Edit: Ahh. Klara/Trixie still think the spell failing will kill Audrey. Good old Thorsby shenanigans.

That would probably screw her over, since she's rising higher by the minute. Or: it would drop her into the midst of a bunch of zombies, which is also not great.

Also: considering how things are going, I can't shake the feeling this gun is going to come off the mantelpiece by the end of this storyline. Maybe it's a disease the zombies are carrying.

We know Audrey's mercenary as gently caress and has no particular interest in Trixie's presidential campaign. What if the same dude who visited Lyndon also visited her and she agreed to chuck some sand in the gears in return for a big pay out?
