As someone who played those two games back to back, the stealth wasn't great in the first game anyways and New Order is way worse about throwing bullet sponges at you en masse. Colossus turned the dial about 20% of the way closer to DOOM2016 but with hitscan enemies, so you can get into situations where you melt by accident. Wolf 2 does at least have weapon upgrades, which helps the shooting feel a little more substantial than Wolf 1. In short: if you're looking for stealth shooties, they're both poor choices. If you're looking to run and gun, wolf 2 is a bit better than the first game. I also think that wolf 2 has much more interesting scripted content, but you could watch an LP if that's all you wanted.

The weapon upgrade system doesn't really matter when the rifle and the electric rifle are the only good guns.
