There was an episode where a racist old dude captures the titular werewolf so he can infect himself and be young again, but his black maid switches it up on him, becomes a werewolf and kills him.

The first somewhat modern computers my school got were Gateways. All of them. So many cow-patterned boxes. I’m pretty sure they were probably terrible but they were new computers so I doubt anyone dared complain. I often get weirdly nostalgic for those days.

Its so funny that even back then I thought it was super weird to just buy an entire computer through the mail. I don't think I've ever bought a off the shelf computer, the closest I ever got was having someone else assemble it for me.

Huh, at the same time I just recently found my Resident Evil 2 and Silent Hill strategy guides in an old shoebox in storage. Some really in-depth stuff that made me smile as I flipped through the pages. So being cool in 1996 meant you had a... backpack? Yes, I kind of get that it's a ~*JanSport*~ backpack, but still. Also, Surge didn't come out until 1997.  Should be this (which I still kind of miss):
