The thing Im going to be most disappointed about is the failure of Issue 1 in my home state of Ohio, which would lower all non-violent drug offenses to misdemeanors, among other more-sane drug policy changes. Were a state of awful, mean-spirited assholes, who also happen to be HARD hit by the opioid crisis, so of course our fine Christian response is to turn the screws.

something important to keep in mind: a lot of the Dems who will be losing tonight actually got a majority share of the vote, but huge blocks of those votes were illegally rendered invalid by a variety of means and their own party has done poo poo all to stop it despite it being the norm for DECADES
