Hogan always struck me as an oldschool red governor in a blue state that is basically an endangered species. But I don't really pay much attention to MD politics so I could be talking out of my rear end on that, but that's the impression I've gotten.

She voiced her opinion, which is bullshit, but stated she would not block the will of the state and signed it into law when the only other state was Massachusetts. I can respect that and still disagree with her.
