Dems just need to start firing off bills that do Good Things and sending them to the senate and not stop until we have a democratic president again. They will all be crushed but it’s good to build a record of their crimes in the meantime. Just like making them vote for a rapist, make them vote down making veterans’ lives better, etc.

I voted for the Green guy in the last mayoral election here. He wasn't the anti-vax kind, was progressive and charismatic as hell, and I think he would've done a lot of good for the city. He ended up getting like 16% of the vote, which isn't much, but was a lot more than the Republican candidate got.

Replies to a couple of topics from last night 1. Pelosi should still be in charge of wrangling votes and keeping party in line, but we need another person as face of the party. So Pelosi as majority leader and Barbara Lee as Speaker. 2. There’s a strong chance AOC will be president some day, and her 2020 DNC keynote address, like Obama, will be a springboard to it.

I voted for one Green-Rainbow candidate here in MA because I did an interview for a job at the State Treasurer's Office, and she was such an awful, terrible human being that I can never, in good conscience, vote for her. I tend to do write-ins over Green anymore, they just don't have good candidates in MA like they used to.
