Good looking too, Mk.XV are among the prettiest planes IMO. Really cleanly flown as well, looks like it's on rails.

If the customer wouldn't take the hint about finding new ones instead of repairing the old ones, I doubt they'd be interested in making new ones, either.

He also mentioned in a recent video that business is pretty slow right now, so I'd guess that he'll take the jobs that he might otherwise turn down.

He never says what they're from, only that the customer insisted that they were not replaceable - thus he agreed to fix them up.

Did it burn before or after Tavarish bought it? Either way, now I definitely want to see him try to repair that in the most half-assed way possible.

In the meantime, I just watched Roadkill Cliff Jumping episode and while it's not the best overall, it's like the must 'murrica thing possible. Though they should've tried shooting the cars in mid-air for the complete experience.

Before, Hoovie shipped it to California so he could drive it there for a week, and lent it to some dipshit rich kid vlogger for a couple of days before he arrived and it totally, like, randomly caught fire, man. He definitely wasn't abusing it or anything, he swears.

And yeah, watching Tavarish repair it on the cheap should be pretty amusing.

wilfredmerriweathr
Jul 11, 2005
To be fair, and I love hoovie, he's also a bit of a rich kid dipshit vlogger, even if he's older and more removed from the kid portion of that descriptor.

But I can't believe he lent that car to anyone.

Wait wat?
The main thing about guys like Hoovie and for example Tavarish is that their target audience most likely isn't teenagers. They aren't really spreading the plague that is rich / super car lifestyle vlogging charade that sets impossibly high standards for young people and shoving merchandise down their throats, while they themselves are being funded by the big bank of parents and claiming it's all their own success.

His first car ever was also the grey market import convertible late 70s/early 80s benz his grandpa imported and he's done videos at his parents' place before which is pretty drat ostentatious.

He owns a number of freddys steakburger franchises...

He's cool as hell and I love him but he's a rich kid that played car dealer for a while from what I see. Nothing wrong with that, and I am excited to see his legit tv show.

Speaking of Hoovie... he just did some videos for VINwiki.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ozHD58Ogas

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23UxUM6dcKE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zn5BVfYx5c

One of the videos details how much money he's lost just on the cars he bought for YouTube videos. Seems like he'd be a nice guy to have a beer with, but definitely a lot more well off than he would be at his age if he hadn't had backing from family.

Had no idea he owned a restaurant franchise. Freddy's doesn't do so well here (though there is one about 15 minutes away), but they do very well in the midwest from what I've heard.
