My signature is a photo realistic pencil drawing of my cock and it doesn’t translate well into the digital signatures used on Nevada ballots.

we’re in the middle of a political realignment and anyone telling you what lessons they took from 2016 on the makeup of the new coalitions is bullshitting you. but the real lesson everyone should take from 2016-18 is that most members of the establishment, on both sides, are incredibly incompetent

Red hats being the most divisive symbol since the swastika. If things keep on separating btw rural and urban votes, we're looking at 30% of the population controlling the political sway of presidential and senate elections.

I noticed that Pennsylvania, a state that was recently forced to un-gerrymander itself by the Supreme court and which has 18 seats total in the House, will now have 9 Ds and 9 Rs. I wonder if that's just a coincidence.

The state house and senate are still red as well despite an overwhelming vote majority cast for democrats. Just another enjoyable reminder that our 'representative democracy' doesn't actually do that

http://floridapolitics.com/archives/281018-bay-county-email-votes Supposedly Bay County accepted a bunch of illegal email ballots, but they already completed their recount. What's the over/under on the possible illegal email ballots never being looked into because their totals have already been submitted and "gee it really would be a hassle I'm sure it's fine" ?

Trump blowing off the doors really showed that the narrow conventional wisdom was completely wrong. Now Republicans have to figure out if they want to embrace what he embodies or pretend he never happened and go back to how things were, while Dems are fighting over their own direction. Political science profs must be frantically rewriting books about this

Man, in 2016 they just threw it out and told me to reregister at some point. I tried to next time I renewed my license but it said I was already registered. Oh well, they counted my vote this time. Samurai Sanders posted:Does your signature look white? I dunno what that would mean concretely but I bet election officials can tell. Well I have a first name considered non-white in some circles but . . . I guess I'd rather extremely naively hope this isn't the reason and it's just the dyspraxia. Apraxin posted:minor in the grand scheme, but the ballots being counted in arizona will decide some of the downballot state races as well as the senate. Ducey's 15+ ahead and un-catchable for Gov without genuine massive voter fraud, and the gop AG almost certainly has a big enough margin to be safe too, but State Sec is now almost within 0.5 and the dem Sup of Education candidate went from like +0.3 on election night to +1.8 as of now. still almost 375k votes to come in. Cool to see Hoffman winning because I've never seen more small political signs for one person. Seems like she just used her money to canvas as much of the state as possible. My thought was "does that even work for school superintendent" and I guess the answer is "maybe?"
