I feel the need to point out Stan Lee went completely loving insane around ten to twenty years ago and has since been wheeled around in front of cameras and fed lines in order to keep the dream alive. Is that good? Bad? Who knows, but old man running around playing grabass literally not knowing what decade he’s in is pretty tame when you are talking that level of dementia. My friend’s grandfather strangled his wife with a telephone cord thinking she was a German soldier or something.

Anyway as you can clearly see from the few times someone in modern comics decided teaming up with Stan was a good idea, his ideas became progressively stupider and more delusionally relevant to the comics industry as a whole.

Not that I have a point here, exactly, just that a lot of people did not notice that Stan Lee has been batshit crazy and under full time care for some time now.

Predictably, after the 2018 midterm elections resulted in a split decision between a House of Representatives controlled by Democrats and a Senate and the White House controlled by Republicans, pundits decried the fact that split government would mean that very little would get done. Considering who the president is, is that really a bad thing?
