I just got around to buying malganis and man he seems fun. Idk if it’s just because he’s overpowered or not but I’ll enjoy him. Feels good to dive their back line and not worry about being obliterated instantly.

A good stun ult + double chomp can wipe most of a team. Silence does absolutely wreck her though. Butcher and Alarak are very strong against her. Zeratul is also a strong counter with Q/blink. Orphea is an absolute pub stomp. More skilled players can avoid her bullshit and absolutely shut her down (if you dodge the Q, she is much weaker). But you specifically have to counter play against her. I think she will get balanced down in the next few patches to be closer to Alarak: an absolute monster with a good player, a wet noodle with a bad player. Her play style is honestly very much like a more ranged Alarak but before the numerous nerfs.

I've had zero trouble dealing with Orphea as Tychus's borderline immobile rear end. Step 1: Dodge her Q with the magic of perpendicular movement. Step 2: Bait out her W and dodge via "walk in the other direction." Step 3: Shoot her.

It lets you hit her Q and W a lot more consistently against people who know how to dodge, because dodging that massive Dread wave is almost impossible.

Playing as Orphea, she's hopelessly vulnerable once she misses a single Q. I have had to conditioned myself to never Q a wave because everytime I do so, an enemy capitalizes on it. Similarly, missing a single Q during a teamfight means she loses her damage, mobility, sustain, and basically everything. She looks like a monster if she can get off Q > Q > Q > Q in which she dodges around the battlefield llike a maniac while never dying, but one single miss will kill her.

On one hand, anything that properly sorts Warriors apart from Bruisers and Supports apart from Healers is good. Nubkeks did a 30 min breakdown of his thoughts on Youtubeand he basically said the same thing. There should be separate marksman and mage classes. He also expressed worry about Kharazim being in the healer role when it is possible for him to spec dps almost entirely, which is a complaint I have had since he first released. He also felt that perhaps Illidan should be pushed into Bruiser, along with Vikings and maybe even Murky.

Beyond maybe giving new players a rough idea of what heroes do what, do roles even matter outside of some theoretical future where QM matchmaking isn't garbage? People still debate whether Blaze is actually a main tank or a bruiser, people draft him for both roles, it seems like he can do both sorts of things well, having Blizzard definitively state that he's a Tank isn't going to make much of a difference in that regard. Zarya's now classed as a Support but you pretty much pick her to fill a bruiser-ish role in comps, etc.

I would like to take this moment to thank Blizzard for advertising to the entire game that I am the proud owner of a “Boost” and that they should be thankful for the five percent additional experience that they will be earning. I enjoy the callout in chat when the game starts, I enjoy the icon next to my name on the scoreboard and upvote screens, and I especially enjoy the large, teal explosion that shows over my character’s head shortly after spawning. I will enjoy seeing all of this happening for the next three hundred and sixty days, as I purchased one of these “Boosts” at a steep discount.

He's classified as a Support under the new rules. Support is a separate category from Healer, it mainly seems to be "heroes that give out shields and the oddball multisoakers" so it's like Abathur, Medivh, Zarya, Lost Vikings, and Tassadar.

If you want to see something hilarious play Orphea on Volskaya, and then lose the protector, but drop your ult on it before anyone can get in. It will just loop forever and no one can get in because the protector counts as a hero.

The other team I think intentionally lost the objective so they could go push hard somewhere else and just left Orphea to throw her ult afterwards

Yeah, taking damage cancels the channel Since the protector counts as a hero, Orphea's ult just continues forever until the protector dies and you can't channel long enough to get into it I imagine their fix will be to remove vehicles as counting as heroes for her ult

Orphea is going okay in QM but a contender for dead last in HL. I have no doubt her win-rate will rise significantly once she's not the hot new hero. I have friends who always buy the new assassin even though they can't land a skill-shot to save their lives. Motherfuckers must not have played Space Invaders growing up because they still don't understand the concept of aiming where someone is going instead of where they are.
