 https://www.twitch.tv/jpg_live Last Time: -Offstream, I did my best to beef up my character some more to handle Brume Tower. Maxed out weapons, improved armor, learning about Power Stances. -Enacted revenge on the jerk red phantoms that kicked my rear end last time... with some difficulty. -Ashen Idols all around that resurrected and healed enemies. Stabbed all I could with magic sticks. -Encountered a red phantom named "Prowlers." Turns out that's not his name, but the plural of "Prowler." There were FIVE OF THEM. -Into the depths of Brume Tower is a boss fight. I do barely any damage to him and he is making me cry. -Even with a Raw Dragon Tooth+5, with an attack power of 540, I am barely taking down his health bar. -Even with THREE white phantom allies, I am barely getting him past half health before he decimates me. -I am a very sad boy and will try to rethink my strategy. -If you have the PS4 version of this game, please join me next week so I may summon you and use your great power to kill him for me oh my god. Thanks for hanging out, folks. I'm really sorry about the tone the stream started off with. -Gave the Fume Knight a few more solid tries. I tried everything I could think of to overcome him, but he's too much for me. -If you ever wanted to hear me raging at a video game, tonight was your night, because gently caress this loving boss. -Tried the Iron Passage area of Brume Tower, and got wrecked by absolute bullshit so gently caress this whole area until much, much later. -Headed back to the Shaded Woods, finally facing my fear of the misty woods because it can't NEARLY be as bad as all this other bullshit. So. Mad. -Cannot see a goddamn thing. "Two polar bears loving in a snow storm" comes to mind. The almost-completely-invisible enemies aren't TOO hard to deal with though, aside from lethal backstabs. -Found a talking head who wants me to kill his non-talking body. -Past the mist is a non-misty area (yay!) filled with more phantom enemies (boo!), jars that curse me, some lion-men, and some holes to fall into. Also LOTS of statues blocking paths and chests. -Down the holes are an old man in a wheelchair who won't talk to me, some basilisks, acid pools that destroy my equipment, and a crow person behind a locked door. -Found *looks up name on wiki* Creighton again. He's still mad at Pate. -Boss fog. Find an NPC phantom to help us with boss. -Boss is a scorpion lady. She slammed me with her tail, stabbed me with her weapon, and toxified me.
