Is there any way to leave the customs union without implementing a hard border? I really can't think of one. Lol this is funny to watch after Sweden's fun yesterday.

So am I understanding this correctly, after "holding all the cards" and making sure to avoid any deal where the UK is "in with one foot and out with the other" you've managed to negotiate the amazing deal of "almost nothing changes, you've got the same responsibilities to the EU and in exchange you no longer get a say in how it's run?"

No deal has been agreed by anyone. A split cabinet's proposal of a Draft Opinion of Things has in and of itself, before any vote in our parliament let alone consultation with the EU, caused a complete meltdown in the government.

Norway + customs Union. Still inferior to remain, but you do at least get some consultation rights and crucially internal market for services.

but presumably that would require eea membership which is something that could be negotiated after the uk has left the eu - this is the terms of exit that are being negotiated
