This is a weird game. Since I dont see enemies or understand the UI at all, I feel no presion to win. I have a strange detachement from the gameplay because the world looks like a cutscene. I am playing recon for now, because that renders a donut over people heads, and then I shot that donut and some cool numbers dancing thing suggest I did a thing. I like the new tanks, they are somewhat goofy. I played with a guy that probably main genji in overwatch, always asking in voice for people to change to medic. When we are in the menus for a new map I can clearly heard this dude superior and inferior teeth friction. P

Im in a lot on PS4 as Camrath_Kizuka. Join me, give me a reason to actually use my headset and mic rather than just instantly muting the hordes of heavy breathing, Cheeto eating and spouse-arguing piggies that I get thrown in with.

I know that it's totally against Battlefield spirit, but this is one game I wish there was a kill cam for so that I can understand how I am getting noticed and shot rather than it going "yeah you were hit from" *waves hand vaguely in one direction*. From my perspective I am seeing people with laser accurate guns taking me down from two km away, which makes me feel like I'm missing something about aiming. Tried the game again. I like it even less than before. Where is Wake island?, where are the maps with many tanks for side? Tobruk? Alamein?, even on servers with 64 players the game is quiet has hell, very few sounds and signs of life. I tried to shot with tank to a tower, and tower sufered no damage. So this is not battlefield, this is some infantry oriented clone or some poo poo. I am happy the game is fun for you guys, but this is not the battlefield I know.

I agree that BF1 had something that this game doesn't have. I think BF1 is the better game, but this is fun too, if only for the new maps/guns/etc. I think BFV looks a little bit better graphically, but that in turn makes it harder for you to see enemies, because the world is so detailed now, that enemies blend in super easily. It is definitely a downgrade in that aspect, and it's very frustrating. All in all I definitely like BF1 quite a bit more, but BFV is by no means a bad game.

It shows a mans name for like a second then snaps to the nearest medic so I have no idea where I died from.

I'm enjoying this game even though it's a shell of what BF1 is.... but obviously it takes time to evolve and develop into something. But overall the best word to describe it for me so far is soft. Everything feels soft. Recoil feels soft, movement feels soft, sound feels soft. It's like a brooding sense of quite. Of solitude. Weird.

It's clear that they went back to the drawing board and reworked some stuff after the beta. The battle Royale mode doesn't even come until next spring! We will have to let the game grow and see what it becomes. It's not fair to compare it to bf1 which has all the maps out and (the dlc has been made free several times) has lots of rework done on it.

It's kind of weird how there are different load out presets for axis and allies. I would understand if one was consistently an attacker and the other one consistently a defender, but they get swapped all the time, so instead it's just two characters you have to remember to swap weapons for

I do country specific kits in pretty much every Battlefield game, and now I can set the opposite sides up and not have to worry about swapping kits around all the time. Also, it diversifies my weapons usage so I'm ranking up like, 8 weapons instead of just 4. But like I said... I'm super loving weird about that. Also got into a game on Narvik last night, big thanks to Deamships who was also in that match. I felt bad because I spawned in a Spit V at the start of the match and never died, but the Axis team kept spawning in Ju-88s two at a time, and with no fighter escort, and with my teammate in a Blenheim, it was a turkey shoot. With all the frustrating things this game has, nothing upsets me more than it showing me dying on the ground clearly fully around the corner from the person who killed me. I assume it's the net code on the game but it could just be my crappy UVerse internet connection. Also BF1 let you save and choose multiple loadouts on the fly, why can't you do it in this one?! Nothing would make me happier than being able to choose a camo patern that matches the climate I'm fighting in. Either way though, this is a super fun game and I could see myself dropping a few hundred hours into it.

People seem to complain about a lot of bugs but I haven't really encountered any other than jumping over a fence once killed me. Also, is it just me or does no one talk in this game? I'm on PC, so you'd think they would all have mics. Seems to be a EU thing though, what with all the different languages

Good games this weekend with xbros old and new, even if I was spending a fair amount of time whoring it up in the air. Still, worth the grind, as unlocks make all the difference for both vehicles and weapons. Except the Bren gun. That thing is the tits even without any unlocks.

Is Sten still the go to for smg? Been using the Suomi/MP44 pretty equally and they both kinda suck in their own ways. Not asking to take down targets at range but maybe just an acceptable middle ground between the two...

You get a lot more out of speccing them differently than intrinsic differences because SMGs are made entirely of rear end and recoil. Unrelated, friendship ended with Panzerfaust, now PIAT is best friend.

Decent at range but not as good as the mp34 (I would say STEN is second best), hipfire is very manageable due to slower fire rates but will lose out to almost every other SMG in close range just due to the fact they can put out bullets faster. You do get a nice tighter hipfire grouping though. With that being said, I had no problems completing the mastery where you need 20 hipfire kills in a round with it. Positioning is way more important than stats for any of the SMGs
