Wilder is a true freak, weighing as little as he does and being able to not only hold his own, but nuke guys with one shot. Makes me roll my eyes at guys at heavyweight who claim the extra weight is good for them.

Like you said, it's weird that Wilder can fight at heavyweight while weighing so little. He could probably make cruiser.

Do ring sizes change often for fights? This is only 20ft rather than 24

Jose posted:Do ring sizes change often for fights? This is only 20ft rather than 24 Usually the defending champ specifies the ring size(*). The smaller ring should favour Wilder, but I'm not sure Fury can move for 12 rounds anyway. (*) Notable exception was the Hagler-Leonard fight. Hagler just wanted him in the ring so let Leonard's camp dictate the rest (largest ring possible, only the WBC title on the line so it was 12 rather than 15 rounds)

Jugg's gonna wreck him. The Ninth Layer posted:I don't even really care about the decision, I'm just looking forward to the rematch now. i care because i had wilder by ko in rds 10-12, fury by points, and a hunt / shogun / jds parlay. boxing can eat dicks. really though that card for wilder is a travesty and there is no excusing it, but i'm more upset by the fact that we're no closer to determining who the best heavyweight on earth is. i have been insanely impressed by wilder's refusal to quit and his uncanny inability to lose to guys who should, by all rights, box the poo poo out of him (fury, ortiz).

fury out boxed him, way superior movement and wilder still almost won by knock out. itw as cool how they both poo poo on joshua as well lol
