Random Stranger posted:Either that or Ivanka just got the phone call that Mueller would like her to come by a for a conversation. Mueller has to file the Information on Manafort’s breach of the plea deal by Friday. If any of the new charges stem from coordination with Trump, it should come out then. It’s been theorized that Manafort and Trump’s behavior may have waived privilege, and that Trump’s responses to Mueller may be untruthful by coordinating with Manafort.

I mean seems safe. I don't think Democrats would end the filibuster and pack the court at the same time. That seems like not a great idea. I was sort of hoping this present Congress would end the filibuster but that seems unlikely now.

Man, I used to be one of these guys. Then at some point I realised the things from my childhood still exist somewhere if I want to look at them again (I usually don't), and kids today have different things that are more relevant to the world they live in, and that's okay. It'd be "interesting" (not really) to see how many of these same people would immediately re-re-pivot if the COD games did indeed get banned, blaming a PC culture that doesn't value Are Troops

If court packing becomes something the Senate Democrats would consider, the filibuster would be long dead. It's a bizarre assumption, like assuming you'd have to get McConnell on board with court packing because he's currently the majority leader.
